Testing Magnitone Barefaced! Cleanse And Tone

I feel like facial brushes have become increasingly popular over the past few years and I have wanted to try one of the Magnitone brushes for ages so I was so excited when I got the chance to try the Barefaced! Facial Cleanse and Tone brush. I have been using a manual cleansing brush for a while as I have stopped using exfoliating face washes for every day at the moment and have switched to a much more gentle cleanser.

Whats inside the box – Included is the brush, brush cap, a charger, warranty card, instructions and a protective carry case.

So here is the claim directly from Magnitone

‘Firm and tighten your complexion with the┬áMagnitone London BareFaced Vibra-Sonic™ Daily Cleansing Brush, a powerful tool that delivers a deep pore-cleansing action for radiant, refined skin. Effectively exfoliates the skin’s surface to eliminate excess oil, dead skin cells, dirt and impurities, whilst improving the absorption of moisturising and skin care products to take the ‘dare’ out of going bare’

So this is how it works. The brush works with vibrations and rotations. This means it is exfoliating at the same time as being super gentle and there is no need to use any pressure as the brush does all of the work for you – something a little hard for me to get my head around after using a manual cleansing brush for so long. The brush is also completely waterproof so there is no need to worry about getting any specific parts wet, and the charger is wireless! It connects magnetically to the brush and charges wirelessly.

There is only one button which once pressed stays on for 60 seconds, it also beeps every 20 seconds to tell you to move on to another area of the face, something I found really helpful and after 60 seconds it then turns itself off. If you press it once you get the cleansing function and if you press it twice you get the toning function. I use this applying cleanser/facial wash directly to my face and wetting the brush. Because of how gentle the brush is it can be used day or night and is not irritating.

Does it work? I am really impressed with how well this brush has worked for my skin. I have been using this for the past few weeks and it leaves my skin feeling super clean and very soft. At first, my skin did break out a little which I think was because of how deeply this cleans the skin. Due to the intense deep cleaning, it’s a good idea to use a toner after using the brush.

Have you tried any of the Magnitone brushes?
