I am always a fan of trying new skin care and discovering new brands but I’m usually drawn to the same products and brands over and over so it takes a lot to try something new. But recently the brand Bravura London sent me their first cleanse oil to try.
Firstly the brand Bravura London. The brand started in 2003 and have been introducing new and exciting products ever since. They are a brand that do not test on animals which makes them much more appealing to me and I’m sure a lot of other people too.
Preconceptions So before trying this I had a few ideas about what this would be like. I have combination skin so the idea of CLEANSING with and OIL really worried me, I imagined it would leave my skin with an oily residue after use, I also have sensitive skin which does not work well with a lot of oil’s I have tried before so I was worried I would have to wash my face after using this. I was also nervous about it breaking me out as I thought this may clog my pores.
First impressions I love the packaging, the product is 150 ml which comes in a matte glass bottle. The pump is separate so you have to insert this to start using it. When trying the cleansing oil for the first time the product came out quite quickly and a little more than I expected. It didn’t really smell how I expected either probably because it is quite a natural product.
Using to cleanse and remove make up I have been using the cleansing oil for around two weeks now to cleanse in the morning and take my makeup off in the evening. I have been using one pump in the morning and two in the evenings. I was very surprised on first use. For this cleansing oil you have to use on dry skin only, I have been pumping once into my palm and applying to the face and massaging in the morning, until all of the product is used up. I then use warm water to rinse off. At night for make up removal the same steps, but repeat them for a second time.
Results I was very pleasantly surprised with this product and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The oil did not leave my face oily at all, it was very hydrating when applying and once rinsed and dried felt very soft. It felt really good in the morning and when removing makeup did a really good job, the only issue I had been with eye make up as it took a little bit too much working to remove, I do usually like to use micellar water on my eyelashes anyway as it is so gentle.
I was really impressed with this oil and would be a definite repurchase. You can purchase this for just £14.50 direct from their site.
Have you ever tried Bravura London? What did you think?
