DermaSalve Hand Cream – Review*

As you will know if you have read any of my previous posts, I have the most sensitive and dry skin. I always find January is the worst month for it. The first sign of cold in September and I am suffering with dry and irritated skin which starts on my hands.

I have collaborated with DermaSalve to review their hand cream. Its specifically for dry and sensitive skin which is prefect for me. The thing I love about this is that it is as natural as you can possibly get. As much as I like scented hand creams and lotions it can be really painful on dry skin and sensitive skin. This DermaSalve sensitive hand cream includes ingredients like jojoba and grapeseed extract which is really moisturising and softening on the skin.

I have been using this for over a week now, 2-3 times a day. At first it was strange for me, using something unscented as I’m used to things that smell really strong. I have been using one pump each time for both hands. It is a nice cream which is quite light and easy to apply and sinks into the skin quite quickly and doesn’t leave me with hands that feel sticky for long after use. I noticed the different after using this really quickly, probably within two days, that my hands were really soft and the appearance was very smooth. They also don’t feel itchy at all. I think this would be great for people who really suffer with skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema as it does not contain any alcohol which is really drying to skin or perfumes which can irritate cracked skin.

They also have other products for dry and sensitive skin including facial moisturiser, body cream and baby/infant cream. Which after using the hand cream I would definitely use. I am currently a 200ml size tube which costs £9.99 and would last me all of the winter months easily.
