Hey everyone! Just want to start by saying thank you to everyone who reads my blog, I’ve started noticing lots of people reading especially people who are not from the U.K which to me is crazzzzy. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! Crazy.
Anyway I thought I’d do a little review on the Nip and Fab Kale fix clay mask. I did post about this a while ago when I got this from TK MAXX. I haven’t really tried anything from the brand before but I have seen it everywhere.
With it being winter and it getting colder and colder everyday (or so it feels) my dry skin needs some hydration. I have combination skin but it gets so dry in winter I have to really step up my skin care game. I’ve also been trying to use more natural products because I feel like they will benefit me more in the long run, and care for my skin rather than just masking the problem.
So the mask. You can get it from Superdrug for £9.95 although I got mine from TK MAXX they don’t always have the same things in there all of the time. It’s a creamy formula and smells really nice and quite natural which gave me confidence that when I applied it, it would suit my sensitive skin. You don’t need to use much product and when applying it was a different texture to what I expected, the formula of a lot of the masks I have used before are quite heavy and thick. This was really thin and felt like it went on more like a moisturiser than a mask. I did actually like this though because it felt nice and light. When I used this for the first time I kept in on for the usual 10-15 minutes, but every time I’ve used it after I have been keeping it on up to half an hour because it doesn’t get very dry and tight on my skin like normal masks do.
When I went to wash this off I found it left my skin soooo soft and smooth, I think it was probably better for hydrating than clearing but it still did a good job of that too. I’ve used this mask a couple of times a week since I got it and there is still a lot left so all in all for £10 I would buy this again to use in the winter months.
Have you tried anything Nip and Fab? Is there anything else I should try?
